In 2024, we marked a milestone we are incredibly proud of: 15 years of CAS Advisory.
It is a long way from where it all began. Back in October 2009, Stephen Connolly founded CAS, then Connolly Accountancy Services, with one desk in Pavilion House, six clients, no staff, and a laptop. Stephen’s ambition was clear from the start: to build something exceptional. His vision was to be the best independent accountancy practice in Ireland, driven by hard work, great people, ambitious clients, and a strong referral network. Our tagline, “We are Responsive, Innovative and Attentive”, reflects a conscious decision to be more approachable than the traditional model, closer to clients, and focused on their growth as much as our own. A client said just that at a recent meeting: “We’ve grown together”, which was nice to hear.
Our focus on people and relationships has not changed. If anything, AI and digital transformation have made us more passionate about being approachable and people-focused.
To mark fifteen years of CAS, we welcomed clients, colleagues and industry partners to The Blue Goose, previously Dobbins. It was fantastic to share stories and conversations with longstanding and new clients, colleagues, and partners we have relied on and who have relied on us.
Fast forward fifteen years, and the business has grown considerably. We’re now based in Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin 2, in a much bigger space. We have expanded our services beyond traditional audit, outsourced accountancy, insolvency, tax and payroll, into areas including digital currency and establishment in Ireland. A big part of our business is helping international companies establish a presence here, and ultimately in Europe, and that is an area we expect to continue to grow.
We also recently supported An Cosán, and we are actively exploring ways to expand our charitable giving in 2026 and get the team more involved going forward.
Fifteen years is a significant landmark in any business, but for us it represents something more than longevity. It reflects the relationships we have built with our clients over that time, the trust they have placed in us, and the dedication of the team that has made CAS what it is today. None of it happens without the people in that room.
As for what comes next, we have exciting news to share in the coming months, which we look forward to announcing.
